Tell me about this role: Jacobs are on the hunt for an NV1 Program/Product Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This varied role will support the Development and Implementation of future technology and equipment through the procurement of the Apache helicopter. A strong Defence background is essential. This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including subsidised parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave. What will I be doing day to day?

  • Provide detailed technical, professional and policy advice specific to the AH-64 Apache

  • Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, and development of project and product strategies and plan

  • Provide expert advice on Foreign Military Sales acquisition and sustainment cases specific to the AH-64 Apache

  • Prepare, support, and where appropriate, facilitate briefings, workshops and presentations

  • Provide subject matter expert advice and support to industry engagements, Tender Evaluation, and negotiation activities

  • Provide experiential advice on AH-64 Apache training and logistics systems, from requirements through to implementation

  • Mentor and coach other members of the Project Team

What sort of skills do I need?

  • Project Management background including any relevant qualifications such as Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD)

  • Demonstrated experience in Defence Aviation

  • Experience as a military Qualified Flight Instructor (QFI) and Unit Maintenance Test Pilot (UMTP)

  • Experience in Army helicopter Maintenance and Logistics

  • Experience as a Production Control Officer

  • High level attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Australian citizenship and an NV1 security clearance as a minimum
