The LifeFlight Training Academy, located near Brisbane Airport provides complete training solutions to the HEMS industry. The dedicated facility features the Thales Level D Full Flight AW139 Simulator and sets the safety and training standard in innovative AW139 aircrew training.

The Opportunity
We have an exciting new role for an experienced AW139 Simulator Instructor to join our team on a casual basis. Your key responsibilities in this role will include conducting Simulator instructor duties for both external and internal clients of the Academy, along with operational pilot training and checking.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Qualifications
Hold an the Airline Transport Pilot Helicopter Licence
Type Rated on AW139 Helicopter
Hold a current Instrument Proficiency Check multi engine helicopter with a minimum of 5 instrument proficiency checks
Cert IV – Training and Assessment and/or Documented evidence of Flight Training development and management
Previous simulator instructional experience
Hold / have held a helicopter flight instructor rating with the following training endorsements:
Instrument Rating
NVFR
Low level
Winch
Type Rating AW139 (SP)
Type Rating AW139
NVIS
Flight Instructor Rating
Multi-crew
Hold / have held a helicopter flight examiner rating with the following examiner endorsements:
Instrument Rating
NVFR
Low level
Winch
Type Rating AW139 (SP)
Type Rating AW139
NVIS
Flight Instructor Rating
ATPL
Experience
1000 hours PIC ME Helicopter
500 hours PIC Night Helicopter
200 hours instrument flight time in helicopters
