About the Role

Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia is a growing business that provides helicopter Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, Air Ambulance, Passenger Transport, Marine Pilot Transfer, Surveillance and Defence operations across Australia.

An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced pilot to join our team at our Warrnambool Base. This business critical role will support our service to Ambulance Victoria with EMS and SAR missions using an AW139 Helicopter.

Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Pty Ltd is currently seeking a qualified Pilot at our Warrnambool Base. This position will support our service to Ambulance Victoria.

Essential Requirements:

  • Air Transport Pilot Licence – Helicopter (ATPL-H)

  • AW139 type rating

  • Instrument rating – Multi-engine Helicopter (IR MEH - min 5 renewals)

  • >2,000 hours total – Helicopter

  • 1,500 hours – PIC Helicopter

  • >500 hours – PIC Multi-engine Helicopter (not including ICUS)

  • >100 hours – Night

  • >250 hours – Instrument flight time (can include 125 hours on an approved SIM)

Desirable Requirements:

  • NVIS rating

  • Previous EMS/ SAR experience

  • Endorsements: Winch and Low Flying

  • Elevated Helipad
