We are currently seeking applications from highly experienced and qualified VRLL / Utility / Fire Pilots with specific expertise in Firefighting and Vertical Reference Longline Airwork operations, to become a part of our Rotary Wing team based in Newcastle, NSW.  Seeking a dynamic and progressive team player who thrives on challenges and excels in a fast-paced environment.


What Will I Be Doing?


Reporting directly to the Rotary Wing Head of Flying Operations & Head of Operations, you will be supporting them by:


  • Conducting Firefighting and Airwork operations, including long lining

  • Performing other Airwork duties as assigned

  • Maintaining precise operational and flight records

  • Participating in hangar maintenance and operations

  • Supporting continuous improvement in rotary wing pilot operations.

 Minimum Requirements:


  • CASA CPL(H)

  • CASA Class 1 Medical

  • 2000+ hours PIC Helicopters

  • Current Flight Review -  SEH / LLR

  • Aerial Application Rating - Fire H

  • Sling Endorsement

  • 100hrs on AS350 

  • 100hrs Fire experience

  • 200hrs VRLL

  • HUET / EBS

  • Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia.


Desirable Qualifications and Experience:


  • B206/B407 Rating

  • Grade 2 Instructor Rating

  • Ship / deck landing experience 

  • Dangerous Goods by Road

  • Manual Driver’s Licence

  • Willingness to relocate to the Newcastle/Hunter Valley NSW region.
