The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Base Pilot to join our rotary wing team in Cairns and contribute to making a real difference in the community.

You will operate single pilot, twin-engine helicopters across a range of missions, including aeromedical services, search and rescue and emergency and disaster response.

What we're looking for:
Mandatory requirements:
Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
Low Level Rating
Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating
Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 Renewals
Minimum 2500 hours total time
Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) Helicopter
Minimum 500 hours Night PIC Helicopter
Minimum 1000 hours Multi-Engine PIC Helicopter
Minimum 1200 hours Turbine Helicopter
Minimum 100 hours NVIS Operations
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
Highly desirable:
Flight Examiner Rating (FER)
Flight Instructor Rating (FER) - Multi Engine or previous Military Equivalent
AW139 Type Rating
Hold a current Australian Passport
