Fiordland Helicopters is locally owned and operated, with bases in Te Anau and Tuatapere. Specialising in commercial and tourism operations across Fiordland. From precision long line and commercial operations through to tourism and hunting transport, we operate at the highest professional standard.
We are currently inviting applications from highly experienced helicopter pilots to join our team in Te Anau (Te Anau airport) with some requirement to cover Tuatapere. This is a full-time position, rostered 5 day work weeks.
We are looking for more than just flying hours. We are seeking a pilot with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine love for what you do. As an ambassador for our brand you will need to enjoy sharing your love of flying and Fiordland with people from around the world.
The successful applicant will have:
NZ citizenship, residency, or legal right to work in New Zealand
Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak season (Dec-Apr)
Excellent communication and prioritisation skills
Strong teamwork and adaptability
A positive, personable and professional character
Minimum Requirements
4000+ hours - helicopter
Rated on AS350 and Hughes 500
Strong commercial and longline experience
Proven mountain flying experience including snow operations
Required (or ability to obtain)
Current First Aid Certificate
CAA Dangerous Goods Certification
NZ Class 1 Driver's Licence
NZTA Dangerous Goods endorsement
