Contract Manager Victoria



About the Role 


We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Manager within our Aviation business to join our team at Babcock supporting our  contract with Ambulance Victoria. Reporting directly to the Head of Contract Performance, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and execution of operational, engineering, and commercial aspects of our service for Ambulance Victoria. 


In this role, the Contract Manager will be responsible for championing safety as a top priority, providing strong leadership, and ensuring compliance with Safety Management Systems Policy and Procedures. Furthermore, they will be tasked with cultivating strong business partnerships with our valued customers while collaborating with engineering and planning teams to effectively manage AW139 fleet resources. 


As the primary point of contact for contractual matters, the Contract Manager will establish and nurture client relationships, communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders, and ensure compliant delivery of contract deliverables. They will maintain timely and professional reporting, correspondence, and records, while also providing operational advice and support to Air Ambulance Victoria Management. 


To be successful, you will bring


  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Held leadership or management roles in similar industries.

  • Previous experience in Aviation or Health industries (Desirable)

  • Current AW139 Pilot checked to line with company on Ambulance Victoria contract (Desirable).
