The Role
Alpine Helicopters is looking for practical hard-working pilots to join our team. You will exude common sense; absolute professionalism and your prior experience will contribute to as many of our existing operations as possible.
Alternatively, we may accommodate the right individual who has the ability and motivation to up-skill in a timely fashion. The successful candidate will have:
An affinity for clean helicopters, well maintained equipment and tidy hangars; and
Mountain flying and long line experience; and
A NZ CPL-H with 2000-hours helicopter time and 1000-hours turbine time minimum and preferably be both AS350 and MD500 rated

The role is a full-time permanent position operating out of our Wanaka and Queenstown hangars with a flexible start date. Remuneration is dependent on experience and ability brought to the role. Advancement opportunities within the business exist for the right candidate.
Our Company
Alpine Helicopters is a wholly owned division of The Alpine Group Limited, a family owned business with interests in Aviation, Pastoral Farming, Tourism and Primary Exports.
With our modern fleet of helicopters, we provide a wide range of aviation services under NZCAA Part 135 & 137 certifications. Services include filming, firefighting, heli-skiing, hunting, lifting, pest control, scenic and charter work as well as wild animal recovery. While our home base is located in Wanaka, we operate throughout the South Island at various, and remote locations and we will also be opening a hangar in Queenstown later this year. The current fleet consists of:

1 x CABG2
Alpine Helicopters team is made up of eight full time pilots, administrative and operational support staff. We also enlist the services of contract pilots throughout the year.
