About the Role
We're seeking fixed and rotary wing pilots to support our field operations. The roles include survey flying, transporting field crews and equipment to remote locations across Australia and operating technical instruments.
Ideal candidates will hold both fixed-wing and rotary-wing licenses however it is not essential to hold both. For the right individual, there will also be opportunities to further develop technical skills in remote sensing technology and ground-based field surveying.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport field crew and equipment to remote or hard-to-reach locations
Conduct pre-flight planning, risk assessments, and aircraft inspections
Coordinate with the field team to optimise flight logistics
Maintain all required flight records and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications and Experience
Current commercial fixed wing and/or rotary wing pilot licence
Endorsement and minimum of 100 hours in any of the following: C172, GA8, BE36, R22, R44, R66
Valid driver's license
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to participate fully in all aspects of field operations
Desirable
Willingness to build additional skills
Remote area experience
High level of computer literacy
