AW139 Offshore Pilots (Fixed Base)

HNZ has established itself as a premier helicopter-transport provider in offshore operations in Australia, New Zealand and throughout Asia, and is a growing part of the PHI Group of companies.

We are currently looking for experienced offshore pilots to fly the AW139 helicopter at our New Plymouth base.

Interested applicants should preferably have previous experience in Petroleum Offshore support operations and hold an AW139 type endorsement with the following minimum qualifications:

Captain

  • NZ ATPL (H) or ICAO equivalent that can be used to obtain NZ ATPL (H)

  • Instrument Rating

  • At least 3000 total rotary hours

  • At least 1500 total PIC hours

  • At least 1200 hours in multi-engine rotary aircraft

  • At least 100 hours flying the AW139

Co-Pilot

  • NZ CPL (H) or ICAO equivalent that can be used to obtain NZ CPL (H)

  • Instrument Rating

  • At least 1000 total rotary hours

  • At least 100 total PIC hours

  • At least 500 hours in multi-engine rotary aircraft

  • At least 50 hours flying the AW139
