About the role

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified pilots for the commencement of the new Air Support Unit contract commencing 1 July 2019.

Pilots will be engaged in flying duties supporting New Zealand Police based in the Auckland area.

Minimum Requirement:

• Permanent New Zealand Resident

• 2500 hours Pilot in Command

• 250 hours Multi Engine Helicopter

• Cross country night endorsement

Preference will be given to applicants:

• Who currently reside or can easily make arrangements to reside in Auckland within 45min drive (in medium to heavy traffic conditions) to the Auckland Heliport at Pikes Point, and;

• Have experience operating in busy controlled and often congested airspace.
