Full time -OR- Temp Contract position - START ASAP -
Agricultural Aerial services, running 2x R44 Raven IIs, an R22, a Bell LR206L and a Bell JR206.
On any given day our Pilots could be as far afield as Stewart Island, the Crown Range, Colac Bay and Edendale.
Agricultural Spraying of chemicals, gibberellic acids and liquid fertilisers, Bucket Spreading of seeds, trace elements, lime and fertilisers, and Stock Control and Mustering make up the bulk of the work we do.
These all require the weather to play ball, and so the work rosters and timeframes reflect this – particularly in our busier seasons when we have good daylight hours.
Our team have a wealth of local knowledge and experience, and make the most of having strong relationships with our clients – from very large stations to smaller lifestyle blocks – while ensuring work is done to the highest and safest quality possible.
We use the TracMap© system to provide our clients with peace of mind.
You will be:
Ag Rated – with a current chemical rating, medical certification, and ability to work in NZ
Safety conscious, physically fit, and able to do the hours required
Rated in some or all of the machines we use, or able to become so very quickly
Comfortable developing a rapport with the team and our clients, while staying focused on the job at hand
Hopefully holding a current First Aid certificate, DG endorsement and/or Class 2 Drivers Licence
Happy to help keep our base and aircraft in tip-top shape, and paperwork accurate
