Helicopter Pilot - Aoraki/Mt Cook

It's not every day a job like this comes up where by you have a fun role, working with a good crew in one of NZ's most spectacular locations – Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park.

About INFLITE

INFLITE is a national organisation with bases in Auckland, Taupo, Franz Josef and Mt. Cook, however this role is specifically looking for a pilot to be based in Aoraki/Mt. Cook, where we offer scenic flights, charters and an array of different experiences, including heli hiking and skiing.

Role Description & Responsibilities

Tourism Operations including helicopter scenic flights and a range of commercial activities:

  • Undertaking a range of helicopter flights at the direction of the Operations Manager in support of our tourism operations;

  • Assisting the helicopter team in ensuring comfortable, enjoyable, safe operations;

  • Utilising and maintaining skills and looking after aviation helicopters and equipment;

  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the provisions of all relevant Civil Aviation Regulations

Skills and experience

Essential Requirements

  • Commercial Pilot License

  • Class 1 Aviation Medical

  • New Zealand Citizen or right to work in New Zealand

  • 750 hours minimum

  • Turbine experience

  • Relevant qualifications and experience to be employed as a Line Pilot

  • Contemporary knowledge and understanding of applicable Civil Aviation Regulations

Preferred Additional Requirements

  • Rated on AS350

  • Mountain experience

  • Snow/ Ice experience

  • Sling with Longline experience

Helicopter Pilot - Taupo

INFLITE Taupo are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, professional and well organised helicopter pilot to join the team. It's not every day a job like this comes up working with a good crew in Taupo, one of NZ's most spectacular locations.

This role is based in Taupo.

About INFLITE

INFLITE is is a national organisation with bases in Taupo, Mt. Cook, Franz Josef and Auckland, however this role is specifically looking for a pilot to be based in Taupo. The business is focused around VIP transfer and experience packages within the region along with a variety of commercial work such as hunting charters, seismic and survey work.

Role Description & Responsibilities

Tourism & commercial operations including helicopter airport transfers, experience packages and a range of commercial activities

  • Undertake a range of helicopter flights at the direction of the Operations Manager in support of tourism and commercial operations;

  • Assisting the helicopter team in achieving safe operations;

  • Utilising and maintaining skills and looking after helicopters and equipment - an affinity for clean aircraft;

  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the provisions of all relevant Civil Aviation Regulations

Skills and experience

Essential Requirements

  • Commercial Pilot Licence

  • Class 1 Aviation Medical

  • New Zealand Citizen or right to work in New Zealand

  • 1000 hours minimum

  • Turbine experience

  • Relevant qualifications and experience to be employed as a Line Pilot

  • Contemporary knowledge and understanding of applicable Civil Aviation Regulations

Preferred Additional Requirements

  • Rated on R44, AS350 & AS355

  • Longline / sling experience (100ft)

  • Ship/offshore operations

  • Mountainous terrain experience (fly fishing, hunter drop offs etc)
