We are looking for someone to join the ParkAir team in the Senior pilot role.
About you;
Prior experience in a similar role and operating environment.
Ability to lead and manage a team of pilots to safely deliver aviation services relevant to NPWS operations and as set out under the ParkAir Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).
Experience coordinating and supporting management teams regarding pilot endorsement planning; accreditations, licences, flight ratings, ensuring that all aspects of the AOC and business needs are covered and have contingency planning.
Strong desire to provide leadership across the team delivering operations according to the ParkAir Aviation Safety Management System and advocating at ParkAir Safety Management Team Meetings as a Safety Representative.
Willingness to travel throughout NSW and operate in remote environments away from home.
Requirements
Current commercial Pilots license for rotary wing aircraft with a minimum of 4000 hours flying experience.
H125 rating with 1000 hours on type.
Low Level and Night VFR Ratings.
Helicopter Firefighting and Sling Endorsements.
The ability to maintain an up-to-date understanding of all CASA and Department regulations, orders and procedures.
The occupant may have the ability to hold various roles in the Unit such as HAAMC, Alternate Chief Pilot and if suitable ratings held, Senior Ag and/or Senior FAAST pilot.
Ability to ensure that all flight crews are proficient in all aspects of flight operations; and that personnel records are maintained and updated, to comply with CASA regulations.
Proficient in the relevant systems required to manage the Units operations.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing highly desirable.
