Helicopter Pilot (R44) – Line & Base Operations

Bekaa Air is seeking a professional, customer-focused Helicopter Pilot to join our tours, charter, and aerial operations team. Operating a well-maintained fleet of H125/AS350, R44RII, and Bell 206L series helicopters, we are a close-knit team dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Position Structure & Locations This role operates across our mainland base at Archerfield Airport (Brisbane) and our island base at Tangalooma Island Resort. Please note that a mainland-only position is not available.
Depending on candidate suitability and operational requirements, this role can be structured in one of three ways:
Full-Time Dual-Base: Roster split between Archerfield and Tangalooma.
Full-Time Tangalooma: Based exclusively on the island.
Part-Time Tangalooma: 3 days per week, based exclusively on the island.
About the Role This is a hands-on, versatile position. Bekaa Air operates as a team, and all pilots share on ground and base operation responsibilities.
Manage day-to-day operations, including answering phone and email inquiries.
Process bookings and manage flight schedules.
Ensure aircraft are immaculately presented at all times.
Deliver premium customer service from check-in to disembarkation.
Collaborate with the Chief Pilot and Base Manager to assist with future company projects.
Minimum Qualifications
CASA CPL(H), Class 1 Medical, ASIC, Dangerous Goods.
200 hours total rotary time.
50 hours Robinson R44.
Demonstrated competence operating in Class C & D airspace.
Right to work in Australia (Mandatory).
The Ideal Candidate
Strong attention to detail with impeccable personal presentation.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills for customer-facing and administrative duties.
Desirable: Base Management experience.
Desirable: Background in Marketing, Business, or Tourism.
Desirable: AS350/H125 rating (100+ hours preferred) and/or 100+ hours on Bell 206L.
Additional Information
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and above the relevant award.
Start Date: Immediate start available.
