The Role:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Senior Base Pilot to join our dynamic rotary wing team based in Townsville and make a real difference to the lives of those in need. The successful applicant will lead and manage a team of line pilots ensuring aircraft, crews and equipment is at a high state of readiness for emergency response.

Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
Low Level Rating
Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating
Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 Renewals
Flight Hours Requirements:
Minimum 2500 hours total time
Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) Helicopter
Minimum 500 hours Night PIC Helicopter
Minimum 1000 hours Multi-Engine PIC Helicopter
Minimum 1200 hours Turbine Helicopter
Minimum 100 hours NVIS Operations
Certifications and Documentation:
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
Highly Desirable Requirements:

Flight Examiner Rating (FER)
Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) - Multi Engine or previous Military Equivalent
Type Ratings:
AW139 Type Rating
