Helicopter SAR/HEMS Captain

Rotor-Lift Aviation operates the Tasmanian Government contract for SAR/HEMS operations.

Rotor-Lift is looking for a casual or full time, experienced SAR/HEMS Captain. Casual applicants will be considered from locations within Australia, with the full-time position requiring relocation to Hobart on a 4 on 4 off rotation. Rotor-Lift offer competitive rates & relocation package for appropriately qualified candidates.

Candidates must have the minimum criteria detailed below to be considered for this position.

Minimum Criteria:

  • CASA ATPL (H)

  • BK117 or Bell 412 Type Rating

  • SAR/HEMS experience

  • Class 1 Medical

  • CIR (H) (3 renewals/100 hours)

  • 2,000 hours helicopter

  • 1,000 hours PIC helicopter

  • 400 hours M/E helicopter

  • 100 hours NVFR (H)

  • NVIS Rating with 50 hours NVIS experience

  • Winch endorsed

  • Can legally work in Australia

Desirable Criteria:

  • Dangerous Goods

  • HUET

  • Advanced cockpit experience
