Microflite Aviation is seeking Rotary Flight Instructors to join our industry-leading team. We are looking for both single engine instructors, and multi engine instructors. As an approved Airbus Training Centre, we provide advanced internal and external flight training.

About the Roles
Reporting to the Head of Training and Checking / Head of Operations, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering advanced rotary-wing training programs. You will be responsible for mentoring pilots and supporting compliance and administrative functions within the training department.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct advanced rotary-wing flight training for internal and external candidates.
Provide mentorship and leadership to pilots, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Assist in the development of training programs and ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
Support the Head of Training and Checking / Head of Operations in administrative and compliance functions.
Essential Requirements for all roles:
CASA CPL(H) or higher
Grade 1 or Grade 2 Flight Instructor Rating
Current CASA Class 1 Medical
Australian Citizen or Resident
Extensive experience in advanced rotary training and checking
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
CASA Flight Examiner Rating (Desirable)
Single Engine Instructor Requirements:
Existing type rating training approval on AS350 and EC130
Aerial Application Rating (Helicopter Firefighting) - Desirable
Aerial Application (Helicopter Fire Fighting) Instructor Endorsement – Desirable
Low Level Rating with Sling Load endorsement
Multi Engine Instructor Requirements:
CASA Instrument Rating (Helicopter), or military equivalent
Type Rating Training Endorsement for any of 135/145/212/412
Instrument Rating Training Endorsement
CASA Night Visual Flight Rules Rating, or military equivalent
CASA Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating, or military equivalent
