Auriga Aviation is seeking suitably qualified Helicopter Pilots to join our flight operations team in Port Hedland Western Australia. This role will deliver unique opportunities for motivated individuals wishing to accelerate their Helicopter Pilot career.

ABOUT AURIGA AVIATION

Auriga Aviation has established itself as an industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia. Auriga Aviation operates a modern fleet of Airbus H135, Airbus H125, Leonardo A109 helicopters in the provision of services to the maritime industry. Auriga Aviation also undertake air transport operations and utility services to a diverse customer base. Auriga Aviation operates from multiple bases at Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Newcastle, and Port Hedland. Planned growth includes additional bases and scope of operations.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful applicants will fly the Airbus H125 in air transport operations in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Given the nature of the operation, the role is residential, but uniquely suitable for Pilots wishing to advance their flying careers through future opportunities as First Officers and Captains on the Airbus H135 Helionix.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated professionals, with a strong focus on safety and customer service. The right candidate will enjoy a supportive team environment, but equally be able to work unsupervised.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE PRE-REQUISITES

  • Australian CPL (H)

  • 750 hours helicopter

  • 250 PIC hours helicopters

  • Current Class 1 Australian Medical

  • 100 hours turbine

Desirable Experience Attributes:

  • AS350 experience

  • Experience in confined area landings and low-level operations

  • Sling load experience
