Pilots Required-Western Pacific (Re-Post)

Job Description:

A number of positions are available for fish spotting pilots aboard large deep sea purse seiner vessels operating in the Western Pacific region. Hughes C model and MD500D /E models.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 1000 hrs time, with 200hrs turbine time and preferably with time on type. However each application is assessed on its merits.

• Industry familiarisation training including check rides is provided before appointment as PIC.

The company also has a program to bring in from time to time, selected low hour pilots to be mentored and brought up to standard and assessed for ongoing engagement. The position requires being aboard a large deep sea vessel with a multi cultural crew. An A&P mechanic is also aboard the vessel with a supply of parts and consumables. Contract terms are 12 months, with accommodation and victualling provided aboard the vessel.
