If you are an experienced helicopter pilot, open to learning new things and happy to pitch in then join us on our exciting journey.
A new Bell 505 Helicopter arrives in March and will be accompanying us on our Superyacht initially discovering the West Coast of Australia including the Kimberley.
Your home base could be onboard the yacht helping with day to day duties (including cleaning) or it could be off on the helicopter taking us to our next destination… you will be winging it… so you need to be flexible and happy to do whatever it takes.
We also have a submersible onboard so we hope you will want to learn how to operate that (training provided).
Essential Qualifications / Experience Required
Due to insurance a CPL(H) with a minimum of 700 - 1000 hours total time and 100 hours turbine will be needed, previous B505, B206 or overwater experience will be an advantage. Ability to obtain or hold ASIC and MSIC passes is a mandatory requirement. Ideally you will be based in Australia or New Zealand.
What we offer you
A fun, positive and ever-changing work environment. We can offer you extraordinary opportunities to learn and grow and to become part of an adventure... In addition to this we offer:
An immediate start
Factory type training on the 505 will be included at Bell so C19 travel, USA entry and any other requirements will need to be met by the successful applicant.
HUET training will also be provided.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience, but this will be a well-paid and above award. In return we would be expecting a committed, safe professional looking for a life experience rather than someone trying to fill a logbook.
You need to expect that there will not be big hours flown in the year but there will be quality flying when it does happen with short scenic hops mixed in with long ferries as the helicopter will not be on the boat for sea transits.
