Pilot Required-New Zealand


Mount Cook Ski Planes and Helicopters have a unique opportunity for an experienced Helicopter Pilot to work in the most dynamic and spectacular alpine environment in New Zealand.

You will be working with a professional close-knit team who are proudly focused on delivering high value products which exceed our customers’ expectations. The ideal candidate will strive to uphold our company values whilst operating in accordance with INFLITE'S Operations manual and actively engage in and promote our Safety Management System.

Flying duties from our busy Mount Cook base include tourism flights with glacier and mountain landings, heli-skiing, transporting hikers and climbers, aerial work including long-lining operations, filming and photography and charter flying. Attributes required for the role:

  • The ability to operate safely in a dynamic mountainous environment.

  • Maintain high standards of personal and aircraft presentation

  • Be able to work as part of a close-knit professional team

  • Be an effective communicator

  • The ability to adapt to operational changes and work to a schedule

  • New Zealand citizenship or the ability to work in NZ

Experience required:

  • CAA NZ CPL H

  • Class 1 Medical

  • Approximately 1000 hours helicopter time

Experience desired:

  • AS350 rating

  • Mountain flying experience

  • Long-line experience

  • Part 135 flying experience

  • First aid certificate

  • Dangerous Goods License
