Search and Rescue Services Limited operate 8 Bases with a fleet of 10 BK 117’s and one H145D2 covering the Central and Southern North Island of New Zealand. You will join a team of enthusiastic and experienced Pilots, Crewmen and Critical Care Paramedics who provide an essential life-saving service to our local communities.

The nature of the Position| Te āhua o Te Tūrunga

We are seeking fulltime EMS/Rescue Helicopter Pilots, one to join our team in Taupo and one in Taranaki. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference for the communities that we serve.

Essential skills/experiences for the Role| Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako

You will have the following minimum skills / qualifications:

• NZ CPL(H)

• 2000 hours total time PIC (or equivalent)

• Unrestricted night VFR rating

• Full NZ Class 1 medical certificate

• The right to live and work in New Zealand

Preference will be given to applicants with:

• BK117 rating

• Twin turbine engine experience

• NZ ATPL(H)

• IFR / SPIFR

• NVIS experience

• EMS experience

• CRM

• Hoist/Sling experience

• Mountain experience

• HUET

• Dangerous Goods Certificate

• Air Maestro experience
