Operations Manager-New Zealand

Fox Franz Heliservices Ltd is a trusted and experienced helicopter company operating a fleet of Hughes 500 and AS350 helicopters on scenic flights, commercial transport and specialist aviation services.

With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and customer experience, we operate in some of the country's most breathtaking and challenging environments, including glaciers, mountains and remote wilderness areas.

We are seeking an experienced and respected Operations Manager who leads by example and upholds the highest standards of airmanship, safety and customer service. Based primarily in Franz Josef Glacier, this role offers a unique opportunity in an idyllic location.

What We're Looking For:

• Be a senior person acceptable to CAA with 3 years as Pilot-in-Command with at least 750 hours flight time (helicopter) on Part 135 operations, OR 3 years in an operational control position with experience (including flight experience) in a Part 135 operation

• NZ CPL (H)

• Experience on Hughes 500 and AS350 helicopters

• In-depth knowledge of CAR Part 119/135 and safety management systems (SMS)

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills

• Proven ability to make sound operational decisions with a strong commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence

• Mountain flying and sling experience would be an advantage

• Non-flying candidates with relevant experience will be considered
