About the role


We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified AW139 Helicopter Pilots to join our Aviation & Critical Services team in support of our Queensland Health operation on Horn Island.


Babcock MCS conducts medical transport and emergency service operations throughout Australia. As this is a Touring position, successful applicants will conduct these flying operations in a 15 day on / 13 day off roster pattern. Whilst the role is aligned with the QH contract on HID, pilots may be deployed to other Babcock locations to support operations on a needs basis.


About you


Essential qualifications are based upon contract requirements. The successful candidate must satisfy the following contract minimum qualifications and experience:


Essential:


  • AW139 type rating and 100+hrs command on type

  • CASA CPL(H) (ATPL(H) preferred)

  • Class 1 Medical

  • Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and minimum 3 renewals

  • 2500+ hrs total helicopter

  • 1500+ hrs PIC helicopter

  •  1200hrs turbine time helicopter

  •  100+ hrs night PIC

  •  NVIS rating

  •  Low-level rating with winch endorsement


Desirable:


  • B412 type rating and 100+hrs command on type
