Join Our Team – Experienced Commercial Pilot / Instructor
Garden City Helicopters Ltd is the commercial helicopter entity of the GCH Aviation Group, operating from bases in Wellington, Nelson, Kaikōura, Christchurch, and Greymouth, w support a wide range of commercial helicopter operations across New Zealand.
We are looking for an experienced commercial pilot to join our team in our state of the art aeromedical and commercial Base at Grays Road, Christchurch Airport.
Ideally we are looking for a pilot with:
CAANZ Commercial Pilots licence
a valid and unrestricted NZ CAA Class 1 medical certificate
an Instructors Rating
ratings in Cabri, R44, EC130, AS350 desirable
a strong commercial and/or instructing background
experience with passengers and students
It would also be advantageous to have:
Dangerous Good License
Long line experience
HUET
CRM flying in the wire environment
You need to be fit and healthy to meet the demands of the job and able to work as part of a small tight-knit team, have a great sense of humour and be reasonably flexible. At GCH Aviation all of our team muck in and help where required, safety in the air and on the ground is everything!
Our commercial heli team work rostered shiftwork including weekends and public holidays in accordance with the Company Flight & Duty and Fatigue Management Schemes and all GCH Aviation personnel must pass NZCAA Aviation security vetting.
