Helicopter Support Staff Required-Queensland

Country Mile Helicopters is looking for ground support staff to its Aerial Application business based in the Cassowary Coast.  This position could also suit a junior pilot looking to get into the aerial application field. 

The role is to support loading agricultural, rotary aircraft from a purpose-built HR Truck. As well as general maintenance at the base in the quiet times.

Duties:

• Mixing and Loading of Ag products into aircraft for aerial applications.

• Refuelling of Aircraft and vehicles.

• General Maintenance of ground support vehicles / equipment including washing of aircraft and machinery.

• Stock Control
  

We are looking for someone who:

• Has particular attention to detail, prioritizes a safe, methodical and accurate approach to their work. 

• Takes ownership of their position with lateral thinking/problem solving.

• HR & Forklift licensed or willingly to obtain.

• Has an interest in the aviation/farming industry.  

• Based currently at Tully- will discuss location with potential candidates. 
  

Hours would be a minimum of 38 hours per week. During the peak of our season, we do require our staff up to seven days a week with early morning starts and late finishes.  As this position could suit a junior pilot there is room for advancement to a flying position for a dedicated team member.
