ABOUT AURIGA AVIATION


Auriga Aviation has established itself as an industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia. Auriga Aviation operates a modern fleet of Airbus helicopters in the provision of services to the maritime industry, providing services to a diverse customer base across multiple locations throughout Australia.


ROLE DESCRIPTION


The successful applicants will fly the modern Airbus H135 Helionix aircraft on HMPT services from Karratha, Western Australia. Company operations are conducted by day and night in the maritime environment, including NVIS operations. The successful applicants will advance their skills in the operational environment through initial and recurrent simulator training and line training activities.


Opportunities are also available for inspired individuals wishing to advance their career in a flight training, flight operations auditing, and ground training capacity.


As most flights are in support of Marine Pilot Transfers, the successful applicant will be required to operate over water for extended periods of time. Experience in this environment is highly desirable.


Applicants who reside in or are willing to relocate to Western Australia will be highly regarded.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Experience Requirements


  • CPL (H)

  • 2000 hours helicopter 

  • 1000 hours command helicopter

  • 500 PIC hours Multi Engine helicopters

  • 25 hours night

  • ME Command Instrument Rating (MECIR)

Desirable Experience Attributes


  • EC135 or EC145 Type rating 

  • Marine Pilot Transfer (MPT) experience

  • Offshore experience – 100 hours 

  • Vessel underway deck landings

  • NVIS

  • Muti Crew Operations
