Helicopter Pilot – Pilbara Touring Roster About the Role As a Heliwest touring pilot you will be operating AS350B2/B3 & B206L light turbines conducting various flying missions in support of mining operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

You will have the opportunity to visit very remote regions of Western Australia and work with Traditional Owners whose knowledge of the land is unrivaled. A good understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture is essential.

• A safety focus above all else

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• A demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands in dynamic environments

• A flexible, can do attitude and ability to deal with challenging climatic conditions

• A Class one medical

• An ability to make sound weather related decisions in demanding flying conditions.

• Commitment to a 15/13 fifo roster

Mandatory

• Australian CPL(H)

• 2000 hours helicopter

• 500 hours turbine experience

• Low Level Rating - Helicopter

• Accident free

Desirable

• Perth based

• DG & CRM certificate

• AS350 with 100 hours on type

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide atleast two references.

Successful applicants will undergo a period of training and induction in Perth and Newman prior to deployment.

Heliwest will provide flights to and from Australian capital cities to Newman via Perth.
