Helicopter Pilot-New Zealand
Over The Top – the helicopter company, is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team.
The position is for a line pilot either full time or for four days a week. (Friday through Monday inclusive) You will be renumerated accordingly.
As the pioneer of luxury helicopter tourism in New Zealand, the essence of our company continues to be “to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience, utilising our helicopters to access pristine areas”.
These excursions may include access to our private Par 3 Golf in the mountains, our exclusive High Country Station Alpine Kitchen, remote places in the Fiordland and Aspiring National Parks and other treasured areas throughout New Zealand.
In addition to this we undertake commercial helicopter work.
We require a charismatic, professional and experienced pilot to be based in Queenstown.
The ideal applicant shall have the following.
New Zealand citizenship or the ability to work in New Zealand
Excellent communication and prioritisation skills
The ability to work well in a team environment
Enthusiasm and adaptability
Positive & personable character
The position requires:
NZ CPL (H) and current Class 1 medical
Business acumen and computer literacy
Civil Aviation Fit & Proper Person acceptability.
Minimum flight requirements shall be:
2000 hours rotary
1000 hours turbine
Rated on EC130B4, AS350
Mountain flying experience
Nil accidents incidents or violations in last 5 years
Preferably with:
Queenstown & Fiordland Experience
Sling experience
Firefighting experience
In addition to hold or ability to hold
Current First Aid
Current HUET certification
Current CAA Dangerous Goods
Class 1 and Class 2 driving licence
Current NZTA Dangerous Goods licence
Current Firearms licence
