We have an opening for a full-time Helicopter Pilot/Station Hand to join our operations at Liveringa Station in WA. This role offers a great opportunity to join an exciting, industry leading Agribusiness, with scope for advancement after training and experience.

About Liveringa Station
Liveringa Station is a picturesque property spanning over 267,000 hectares, located on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River in the West Kimberley Region. Our operation combines an extensive beef cattle breeding program with a highly successful irrigated farming operation. We proudly run 25,000 head of Brangus Cross cattle and utilise helicopters, horses, and motorbikes for mustering, employing low-stress stock handling techniques. Situated just two hours away from the vibrant tourist town of Broome, Liveringa provides easy access to the wonders of the Kimberley. Throughout the year, we actively participate in local horse and social events, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among our team members.
About the Role
Reporting to the Station Manager and Aviation Manager you will provide aerial mustering services to company stations in the Kimberley Region. This position is based at Liveringa Station WA, please note this is not a fly in, fly out (FIFO) position. This will be a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to utilise multiple skillsets, firstly in aerial operations and then, when this is not required, working as a general Station Hand.
Key Responsibilities:
Aerial cattle mustering and general aerial work (checking of livestock and facilities);
Ferrying helicopters for scheduled maintenance
Ferrying company staff between properties (when required).
Skills and Experience:
A CASA Commercial Pilot Licence Helicopter – CPL (H);
Aircraft class rating for Single-Engine Helicopter (SEH);
R22 endorsement, with a low-level rating and aerial mustering endorsement;
R44 endorsement (desirable);
Minimum 500 hours of aerial mustering experience (desirable);
Current Class 1 medical certificate;
Current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC);
Experience in the movement, handling and processing of cattle;
Fencing, stock water and general maintenance skills;
Competent operation of various station plant, machinery and equipment and basic maintenance;
A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely;
Good understanding of animal welfare practices;
A genuine passion for cattle and station life.
