As we continue to expand, we are seeking another experienced and suitably qualified Helicopter Pilot to join our flight operations team based in Franz Josef, New Zealand.
Glacier Country Helicopters is a trusted and experienced helicopter operator providing scenic flights, commercial transport and specialist aviation services from our base in New Zealand’s stunning Westland Tai-Poutini National Park. With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and customer experience, we operate in some of the country’s most breathtaking and challenging environments, including glaciers, mountains and remote wilderness areas.
Role Description
Glacier Country Helicopters is seeking an experienced helicopter pilot(s) to join our team. Based in Franz Josef, and due to company growth, we have positions for a permanent full-time pilot and/or fixed term for our tourism season(s).
Performing a large variety of work; from tourism scenic flight operations to film, charter and utility work. We work as a close team to ensure safe and professional service throughout all aspects of our operation. The ideal candidate will be required to continue these ethics, demonstrate a positive drive to succeed and possess the required qualifications and experience levels.
We are looking for an experienced Helicopter Pilot who is hard working and an enthusiastic team player to join our fun and dynamic team and work environment. Accommodation is available in one our staff homes.
We operate four helicopters (AS350B2, EC120B and MD520N).
The position requires:
CPL(H)
Minimum 1000 hours helicopter time
Minimum 500 hours turbine time
Mountain Flying experience
Class 1 CAA Medical
H125 Type Rating
SALARY & BENEFITS
The role is a fulltime position and remuneration will be based on previous experience and expertise the successful candidate brings to the role.
