Head of Operations (HOO) - Helicopter - Queensland
Aeropower Flight School has an opening for a HOO to join our busy flight school based in Redcliffe Qld with a base in Bankstown NSW. The HOO position is a Redcliffe-based position.
Aeropower is a privately (Australian) owned business and a leader airborne electrical asset management and maintenance in Australia and internationally, having been in operation for 30 years. Our flight school has been in operation for over 25 years.
Given our broad business operations, the successful applicant will benefit from working with a large management team with specialist support in various areas among peers. In addition to operating the flight school, the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to be involved in the training and checking and operational aspects of our powerline operation (if desired).
Career development into the wider Aeropower business is available, as is mentoring and training into the requirements of the role.
Our existing HOO remains in the Aeropower business however due to growth is transitioning to taking on HOFO duties full-time. The existing HOO will feature in the successful applicant's training programme.

Minimum Requirements:
CPL
CASA grade 1 instructor rating
Desirable:
R44 rating
A high level of theory and practical flight instruction knowledge
Current DG
Current class 1 medical
Cabri G2 experience
Highly desirable:
GTE
LL TE
Sling TE
DF TE
NVFR TE
Instructor TE
Previously held a CFI or HOO position
