The Heliwest Group has been delivering state of the art aviation and engineering services to its clients since 1992.

Heliwest offers a broad range of helicopter services to a variety of industries including Mining ,Industry, Government and Tourism. Tasking conducted includes remote area surveys, EMS, offshore, sling work, powerlines, agriculture, mosquito control and flight training.

The Heliwest flight training school has been operative for over two decades and provided career pathways for hundreds of student pilots, while maintaining an exemplary safety record.

Heliwest requires full time permanent Perth-based Flight Instructors to join our Part 141 Training Organisation, with the potential to additionally support Air transport and Aerial work operations.

As a Flight Instructor you will be a member of a busy team conducting a wide range of flight training activities. You will work a regular roster that will include working one weekend day per week. The successful applicants will be offered:-

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 3 Instructor Rating – Helicopter Category

  • Low level Rating with Helicopter endorsement

  • Robinson R22 & R44 experience

  • Covid Vaccinated

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 2 or Grade 1 Training endorsement

  • Low Level Training endorsement

  • Sling Training endorsement

  • Gas Turbine Training endorsement

  • FIR Training endorsement

  • B206 and/or AS350 experience

  • Any additional operational ratings and experience will be looked upon favourably (e.g. sling, aerial application, fire experience, NVFR etc.)
