CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – HEMS PILOT Heliwest is a West Australian based Helicopter company that conducts a wide range of tasks that include SAR / EMS, charter, tourism, training and mining support. Heliwest currently operates BK117, BO105, AS350, B206, R44 and R22 aircraft.

Heliwest is seeking expressions of interest from experienced aviation professionals interested in the role of BK117 Co-pilot on our HEMS operation.

Location:

Location is Newman. Fly in fly out 13/15 roster

About the Role As a Heliwest Co-pilot you will be expected to deliver the very high safety and service delivery standards expected by regulators and customers. A desire to strive for the achievement of operational excellence will be expected in the role. Heliwest promotes just culture and an environment of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Carry out the role of co-pilot on BK117 helicopters

Skills and Experience

Co-pilots require:

• A safety focus above all else

• Sound interpersonal skills

• Sound communication skills both verbal and written

• A demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands in dynamic environments

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels and manage client relationships

• A flexible, can-do attitude

• A Class One medical

• Fully COVID vaccinated

• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written

Mandatory Requirements:

• CPL (H)

• NVFR (H)

• 1000 hours helicopter

• 500 hours turbine helicopter

• 50 hours multi engine helicopter

• Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating (H)

• DG Certificate

• CRM Certificate

Desirable

• ATPL (H)

• BK117 type rating

• NVIS rating

• Perth based

• HUET/EBS

• MCC
