Key Responsibilities


CHC Helicopters is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Pilot for a position in Tindal. This position will be fixed based in Tindal with some touring as required by CHC.


Qualifications, Skills & Attributes


Suitable applicants will require the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Hold a valid CPL(H)

  • Low Flying approval

  • Hoist endorsement

  • Current Helicopter Instrument Rating

  • 1000 hours total in helicopters

  • 100 hours pilot in command helicopters

  • 500 hours multi engine

  • Preferred hold a current AW139 Type rating with 50 hours on type

  • Have the legal right to live and working Australia, as CHC do not see the need to offer sponsorship for this role.

Desirable:

  • AW139 Type rating

  • Low Flying approval

  • Sling Load endorsement

  • NVIS Rating

  • Night VFR Rating

  • SAR and EMS flying experience

  • Winch endorsement (with relevant winching experience) is desirable

Key Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail oriented with proven accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships within an evolving and dynamic environment
