Search and Rescue Services Limited (SRSL) holds a 4 year NZ Government Contract to provide Rescue Services out of 8 Bases with a fleet of 10 BK 117’s and one H145 D2 covering the Central and Southern North Island of New Zealand. You will join a team of enthusiastic, highly trained, and experienced Pilots, Crewmen and Critical Care Paramedics who provide an essential life-saving service to our local communities.

Te āhua o Te Tūrunga | The nature of the Position

We are seeking a fulltime EMS/Rescue Helicopter Pilot to join our team at our Hamilton Base. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference for the communities that we serve.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako | Essential skills/experiences for the Role

You will have the minimum skills / qualification:

  • NZ CPL(H)

  • 2000 hours total time PIC (or equivalent)

  • Unrestricted night VFR rating

  • IFR(H) / SPIFR

  • Full NZ Class 1 medical certificate

  • The right to live and work in New Zealand

Preference will be given to applicants with:

  • BK117 / H145 rating

  • Twin turbine engine experience

  • NZ ATPL(H)

  • NVIS experience

  • EMS experience

  • CRM

  • Hoist/Sling experience

  • Mountain experience

  • HUET

  • Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • Air Maestro experience

As part of your employment, you will be required to complete a Police Check.
