EC135 Pilots Required-Queensland



Auriga Aviation is seeking experienced and suitably qualified Helicopter Pilots to join our flight operations team at Hay Point, near Mackay, in Queensland.


ABOUT AURIGA AVIATION


Auriga Aviation has established itself as an industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia, operating a modern fleet of Airbus H145, H135 and H125 helicopters.

Auriga Aviation conducts Air Transport Operations and Aerial Work services for maritime industry clients in Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Newcastle, Karratha and Port Hedland.  Our operations are growing and we continue to enhance our operational capability with NVIS, hoisting and other initiatives.


ROLE DESCRIPTION


The successful applicant will fly the Airbus H135 helicopter primarily serving the Port of Hay Point on an equal-time roster.  Operations at Mackay and other bases may also be required from time to time.  Company HMPT operations are conducted by day and night, 365 days per year, in the maritime environment. The successful applicant will participate in the company check and training system and attend training with external training providers, where required.


As most flights are in support of HMPT, the successful applicant will be required to operate over water for extended periods of time.  Experience in this environment is highly desirable.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE PRE-REQUISITES


To be considered for the role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience.


Experienced Pilot Requirements:


  • CASA CPL/ATPL (H)

  • 2500 hours helicopter 

  • 1500 hours command (PIC) helicopter

  • 100 hours PIC multi-engine helicopters (MEH)

  • MEH Instrument Rating

  • 300 hours overwater operations


Desirable Pilot Experience Attributes:


  • H135 with >25 hours on type

  • Marine Pilot Transfer (MPT) experience

  • Hoisting experience

Pilots are required to hold an ASIC and MSIC for the duration of their employment and may be subject to DAMP testing, for pre-employment and at any time during employment.


Applicants must be able to live and work in Australia and be willing to relocate to Mackay/Hay Point area.  This is a non-touring resident base position.
