Auriga Aviation operates a modern fleet of Airbus helicopters in the provision of services to the maritime industry, providing services to a diverse customer base across multiple locations throughout Australia.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Successful Training and Checking Pilot applicants will offer advanced ground and flight training for Single Engine, Multi-Engine, Night VFR, Instrument Flight, Night Vision, Instructor Ratings and other ratings/endorsements. You must be able to translate your specialist skills into the operational environment through simulator training and line training activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
CASA CPL/ATPL (H)
Class 1 medical
Instrument Rating
NVIS Rating
CASR Part 61 Flight Instructor Rating (FIR)
2500 hours helicopter
1500 hours command (PIC) helicopter
500 hours PIC multi-engine turbine helicopter
Desirable Operational Ratings and Experience
Grade 2 Instructor Rating
Instrument Rating Training Endorsement
NVFR training endorsement
NVIS training endorsement
MEH Training Endorsement
Sling training endorsement
Winch training endorsement
Auriga Aviation equally values behavioural competencies such as adaptability, attention to detail, confidence, customer service orientation, integrity, interpersonal effectiveness, proactivity, problem-solving, safety orientation, self-control and teamworking.
Pilots are required to hold an ASIC and MSIC for the duration of their employment and may be subject to DAMP testing.
Applicants must be able to live and work in Australia.
