This is an exciting opportunity for you to play an integral role in our specialist helicopter business providing safe, reliable, mission-critical SAR and logistics services to the Australian Defence Force.

Job Description
Reporting to the Oakey Base Manager and Head of Defence Aviation Programs, you will join a specialised team dedicated to providing Crash Response Helicopter services to the Army Aviation Training Centre based in Oakey, QLD. The role is a fixed base position working a five-day week.
On completion of the company line training and standardisation, you will maintain operational flying recency through regular operational flying in support of Army Aviation Training.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
Excellent crew resource management and communication skills
CASA Air Transport Pilots License (Helicopter) or Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) with the appropriate endorsements and ratings to act as pilot in command of SAR operations as authorised by the Operator's certificate.
2000 hours rotary wing flight experience
1000 PIC turbine rotary wing
500 hours PIC multi engine turbine rotary wing
NVG Grade 1 Endorsement with minimum 50hrs PIC NVG
Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating with minimum 3 renewals
CASA Class 1 Medical
Comprehensive night, winch and IFR experience
B412 Type Rating with 100hrs PIC relevant experience on type
EMS/SAR experience
ADF experience
