Amuri Helicopters Amuri Helicopters Ltd is a well-established North Canterbury company which has grown to provide a diverse range of services nationwide. We are now welcoming applications from experienced and professional Grade one Agricultural pilots to fill a permanent fulltime position based in Hanmer Springs.

We are looking for a pilot who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of an outstanding and expanding team that places a high value on maintaining excellent safety standards and a respected reputation for quality of service. The Role:

We are looking for a suitably qualified Chief Pilot to work within a small team to become responsible for all our flight operations activities, whilst also maintaining an operational pilot’s role. Key responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations • Oversight of the aircraft flight planning • Maintaining compliance with all elements related to our AOC • Working alongside the Safety Manager and CEO to drive, maintain and improve Safety and Compliance • Providing leadership, guidance and support to the team as required Key attributes of the role include:

• Demonstrated Flight Operations Senior Management experience • Demonstrated Agricultural flight operations experience with strong leadership skills having an emphasis on operations, safety, and strategic planning • The ability or, willingness to obtain such to provide training within the organisation • Thorough understanding of CAA regulations and implications for aviation operations This role will require CAA approval of the successful candidate before the role can be appropriately filled. Remuneration will be offered to the successful candidate acknowledging experience brought to the role. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing when required. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
