Search and Rescue Services Limited (SRSL) holds a 4 year NZ Government Contract to provide Rescue Services out of 8 Bases with a fleet of 10 BK 117’s and one H145 D2 covering the Central and Southern North Island of New Zealand. You will join a team/tīma of enthusiastic, highly trained, and experienced Pilots, Crewmen and Critical Care Paramedics who provide an essential life-saving service to our local communities.
The nature of the Position | Te āhua o Te Tūrunga
We are looking for a fulltime EMS/Rescue Helicopter Pilot to join our team/tīma at our Gisborne Base on an equal-time 4 on 4 off 12 Hr roster as we embark on an IFR journey that will include a fleet upgrade to the H145 D2. Essential skills/experiences for the Role | Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako
You will have the minimum skills / qualification:
Preference will be given to applicants with:
NZ CPL(H)
2000 hours total time PIC (or equivalent)
Unrestricted night VFR rating
Full NZ Class 1 medical certificate
Twin turbine engine experience
Hoist/Sling experience
IFR / SPIFR (FW Rating min)
BK117 rating
NZ ATPL(H)
EMS experience
NVIS experience
CRM
Mountain experience
HUET
Dangerous Goods Certificate
Air Maestro experience
