B412 SAR Captain Fixed based - Tindal Reach Beyond! We are actively recruiting for suitably qualified and experienced Pilots to be considered for the position of B412 Captain for our ADF SAR Contract. This opportunity is permanent in Tindal with some touring as required by CHC. All you have to do is get on board! Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in strict compliance with CHC operational standards and all applicable regulations.

  • Ensure safety and customer service is at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft.

  • Facilitate the communications with the customer and ensure CHC is represented in a professional manner.

  • Maintain situational awareness throughout the entire operational region.

  • Stay up to date on all operational and safety procedures.

  • Comply with other duties and assignments as determined by the Flight Operations Management team.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes: To be successful in this role you will require the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Valid ATPL (H),

  • Valid IR-C-ME(H) with a minimum of 3 renewals,

  • 3,000 flying hours rotary wing,

  • 2,000 flying hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) rotary wing,

  • 1,000 flying hours multi engine command rotary wing,

  • Current B412 Type Rating preferred, with 100 PIC hours on type,

  • Night VFR rating, with 200 hours night flying,

  • Low Level rating with Winch Endorsement,

  • CASA Class 1 Medical,

  • ASIC,

  • Previous SAR/EMS experience,

  • Ability to complete a RAAF SAR Command course to Captain standard.
