AW139 Captain (RAAF SAR Contract) Permanent Contract - Immediate Start May 2nd Fixed Based - East Sale, Victoria We currently have a vacancy with an immediate start and would encourage all suitably qualified and experienced Pilots to be considered for the position of AW139 Captain for our RAAF SAR Contract. This opportunity is permanent in East Sale with some touring as required by CHC.

• A safety champion who will challenge unsafe acts and pursue improvements in safety behaviour within the business

• Manage the safety of the aircraft, passengers and freight

• Ensure allocated aircraft is fit for the proposed operation and loaded in an approved manner

• Ensure Crew compliance with the Company Operations Manual

• Demonstrate commitment and leadership to OHS by participating in meetings, inspections, promotions and other appropriate activities

• Provides information and assistance to aircrew on correct procedures

• International travel may be required.

• May perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Base Pilot/Base Manager/Flight Operations Manager

To be successful in this role you will require the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• Valid CPL(H)

• Valid IR-C-ME(H) with a minimum of 3 renewals

• 3,000 flying hours rotary wing

• 2,000 flying hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) rotary wing

• 1,000 flying hours multi engine command rotary wing

• AW139 Type Rating preferred, with 100 PIC hours on type

• Night VFR rating, with 200 hours night flying

• Low Level rating with Winch Endorsement

• CASA Class 1 Medical

• ASIC

• Previous SAR/EMS experience

• Ability to complete a RAAF SAR Command course to Captain standard
