AS350 Fire/Long Line Helicopter Pilot- Full Time Position Osborne Aviation is a diverse aviation services provider, offering clients across Australia innovative solutions using planes, helicopters and drones. Starting as a single-pilot agricultural spraying operation in rural Tasmania, Osborne now operates in forestry, firefighting and powerline roles across multiple Australian States. Osborne Aviation is seeking a motivated helicopter pilot for the upcoming fire season, long line construction projects and other general aerial work. This is a full position with an attractive salary package. Required qualifications and experience: CASA commercial helicopter licence Class 1 Medical Minimum 2000 hours PIC Helicopters Minimum 100 hours AS350 500 hours Vertical Reference Experience. Precision lift and/or fires. Aerial Application rating (Fire Endorsement) or can obtain Australian permanent resident/citizenship In addition to technical expertise, the following qualities are important to your success in this role: Experience: Pilots that also have experience in other aerial work operations, such forestry/ag flying are favoured, but this is not essential. We are willing to take on people with less experience who show ability and attitude. Energy: The role is what you make it. If you put in the extra effort to satisfy the customer and to contribute to the company outside of the cockpit, then you provide opportunities for the company and yourself. Emotional Intelligence: Ability to fit into the team and work with a wide variety of people. Ability to remain easy-going and function during the frustrating or challenging situations you may be presented with during aerial work. Location: The position will primarily be based in Hobart/Port Arthur, Australia, with travel required throughout Australia from time-to-time. You may be remotely located with your aircraft for some contracts.
