Microflite is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Aerial Shooting Pilot to join our professional team supporting year-round operations. This dynamic role offers a variety of missions involving low-level helicopter operations in challenging alpine terrain.
The successful candidate will demonstrate precision flying, effective crew coordination, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Features of the Role
Year-round aerial shooting operations across Victoria
Low-level operations in remote and mountainous environments
Close teamwork with experienced ground and air crews
We are open to full-time, contract, or touring employment arrangements
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1,000 hours aerial shooting experience, including demonstrated operations in alpine or mountainous regions
Extensive AS350 aerial shooting experience
Proven experience in vertebrate pest control operations
Minimum 100 hours VRLL flight experience (proficient with 150 Long Line)
Aerial Application Rating – Fire endorsement
Strong communication and crew coordination skills
Desirable Qualifications
FAAST approval – highly regarded
Aerial Mustering Endorsement
Experience operating in remote areas and with government or land management agencies
