Precision Helicopters is a family-owned business who have been operating in NSW and QLD for over 30 years. Our B206/L fleet is spread across our bases in Barraba, Quirindi, Gloucester and Coffs Harbour. Our operations extend throughout the Hunter, New England, North-West, Western, and Mid North Coast of NSW. Specialising in Aerial Agriculture, Firefighting and Feral Animal Control, we conduct a wide range of operations which also include aerial survey, mustering, power line inspections and charter operations. We pride ourselves on maintaining long standing relationships with clients through safe, efficient and professional service.
Position Overview:
Precision Helicopters is seeking a skilled, team orientated and highly motivated AG/Utility Pilot to join our experienced team of three moving from base to base throughout NSW working for private and government clientele.
As an AG Pilot you will be responsible for conducting a variety of ag operations, including spraying, seeding and fertilising across diverse terrain and regional environments.
Flexible and willing to travel you will experience a diverse range of operations Precision Helicopters has to offer.
Key Duties
· Frequent communication with HOFO & Ops Manager
· All flying technical logs are kept up to date.
· Ensuring aircraft, spraying and spreading equipment are clean and ready for work.
· Ensuring safety in and around aircraft.
· Communicating with and organising clients.
· Working with and managing Ground crew movements.
· Ensuring the appropriate paperwork is up to date and filled out.
· Ability to work in a team environment and embrace the company’s culture
Minimum Requirements:
CASA CPL(H)
Class 1 Medical
Valid ASIC
1500 hours PIC
100 hours Turbine PIC
100 hours on B206/B206L/AS350
Low Level Endorsement (H)
Aerial Application (H) Endorsement
AAAA’s Accreditation
EPA Pesticide Licence
Experience with Aerial Spraying & Spreading
Strong Airwork background
Strong understanding of CASA regulations and compliance
Desirable
Prior Low Level experience (mustering)
FAAST approval or Aerial Culling experience
Aerial Application (H) FIRE Endorsement
HUET
CRM, Flying in the Wire Environment & Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificates
Longline experience
Instructor rating
Dangerous Goods by Road
MR Truck Licence
Remuneration
- Attractive remuneration and benefits based on experience in the Ag industry, either full-time or contract role available.
- Competitive Day rate or salary is available plus commission.
