About the Role:

We are seeking Senior and Junior Line Pilots for our Avalon Airport base.

We are seeking individuals that are personable and professional, looking for long term employment.

As one of our Helicopter Line Pilots you will be responsible for the safe and compliant conduct of flights and other duties accompanying the operation.

Successful applicants will be extended industry leading conditions as well as a work/life balance that is rare in the helicopter Industry.

The position does require extensive travel within Victoria, however the nominal week cycle is from Monday to Friday.

Applicants who are 60 minutes to 1 hour from Avalon Airport will be highly regarded.

Applicants must be a resident of Australia and or have permanent residency.

Required skills and experience:

• Excellent knowledge of Flight rules and Air law

• Excellent understanding of the different airspaces in Australia and the accompanying procedures

• Confidence in interpreting Meteorological conditions

• High understanding of Human Factors and the associated dangers

• Excellent decision-making skills

Education/Qualifications

Senior Line Pilot – Minimum Qualifications:

• Commercial Helicopter Pilot License or higher

• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate with no Restrictions

• 2000 Hours Total Time Helicopters

• 1500 Hours as PIC SEH

• Low Level Endorsement & Proficiency

• 250 hours Commercial Low-Level Experience

• 250 hours SEH Gas Turbine experience

• Current Night VFR rating

• Remote Area Operational Experience

• Current Dangerous Goods Certificate

• Current CASA DAMP

Senior Line Pilot – Desirable qualifications:

• LiDAR experience

• Glass Cockpit Experience

• Sling Load Experience

• EFB Experience

• HUET

• Current Senior First Aid

Junior Line Pilot – Minimum Qualifications:

• Commercial Helicopter Pilot License

• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate with no restrictions

• 500 Hours Pilot in Command Helicopters

• Low Level Endorsement & Proficiency

• SEH Gas Turbine Endorsement

• Night VFR rating

• Current Dangerous Goods certificate

• Current CASA DAMP

Junior Line Pilot – Desirable qualifications:

• Glass Cockpit Experience

• EFB Experience

• Remote Areas operational experience

• Current Senior First Aid

• HUET
