Helitreck is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time helicopter pilot to join our growing operations team based out of Bankstown Airport, Sydney.
This role operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, with opportunities to work across a variety of operations and locations throughout Australia.
Our operations primarily focus on:
Firefighting and aerial fire operations
External load and long line work
Commercial lifting operations including installation of solar panels, extractor fans, air conditioning systems and rooftop equipment
Helitreck operates a fleet including:
BK117
Bell 206
Bell 205
Due to the seasonal nature of aerial firefighting operations, roster flexibility is essential. During peak fire season, shorter breaks may be required, with longer breaks typically available during quieter winter periods.
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
Conduct fire, charter and utility helicopter operations across Australia
Operate in remote and varied environments as required by the company
Participate in external load and long line operations
Maintain high operational and safety standards
Work closely with clients, crew, and operational personnel
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold:
Australian CPL(H)
Minimum 2,000 hours Helicopter Pilot in Command
Minimum 1,000 hours turbine experience
Fire H Rating
Minimum 100 hours fire experience
Long line experience
HUET certification
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Preference will be given to applicants with:
Night flying experience
Winch endorsement/experience
BK117 experience
Bell 205 experience
Bell 206L experience
