Each and every employee at LifeFlight saves lives every day. You will play a key part of ensuring our ongoing success and growth as an AW139 Pilot on our Surat Gas (SGAS) contract.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Pilots to join our team on a full-time basis at our Toowoomba base working on our SGAS contract. Primary base is our Toowoomba location with Touring to our Roma location in a regular basis as part of the roster.

We are seeking interest from both Captains and Co-Pilots.

Pay and conditions are in accordance with the LifeFlight Australia Limited and Rotary Wing Pilots Certified Agreement 2016-2019 Work Practice 2.

About You

In support of our strong safety culture, minimum qualifications and experience limitations apply. To be eligible you must have the following:

Selection Criteria:

ALL

  • Live within 30 minutes travel time of ‘Home Base’ (Toowoomba LifeFlight Hangar)

  • Strong communication skills

  • A safety first attitude

  • Enthusiasm and a drive to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within aero-medical operations.

Captain

Essential Criteria

  • ATPL (H)

  • CIR ME with minimum 3 renewals (IPCs)

  • NVFR(H)

  • Minimum 3000 hours rotary wing

  • 1500 hours PIC rotary wing

  • 500 hours PIC ME turbine rotary wing

  • 100 hours Instrument Flight

  • 100 hours Night

  • Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • HUET/EBS Certified

  • Class 1 medical

Desirable Criteria

  • Type Rating (AW139) with 100 hours on type

  • Previous EMS/SAR experience

  • NVIS Rating

Co-Pilot

Essential Criteria

  • CPL (H)

  • CIR-ME

  • NVFR(H)

  • 1000 hours rotary wing

  • 500 hours Multi-Engine rotary wing

  • 100 hours PIC rotary wing

  • LL-WR

  • Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • HUET/EBS Certified

  • Class 1 medical

Desirable Criteria

  • AW139 Type Rating with 50 hours on type

  • Previous EMS/SAR experience

  • NVIS Rating

  • ATPL (H)

  • Current PIC
